E2B projects has been involved in several projects for Cambridge certificates from A1 to C1.
The projects have been both group and individual to prepare participants who have already reached a level to pass a formal exam for educational purposes.
The projects are for everyone, specializing in visually impaired or blind students who have good digital ability to manipulate texts in Word doc format.
All courses include an initial oral test via Zoom platform, based on which, the level of the participants will be determined. The participant will then be informed of the options of days and times to attend this course with the identified level and the instructions for registration.
The courses are designed to introduce the mechanisms and strategies necessary to face a certificate with greater confidence in all areas of expertise.
The lessons are divided into four mini parts: Conversation, Reading, Listening, Writing. The course is focused on increasing the student’s knowledge of skills, what is required and practice: talking about specific topics, reading files and processing data, strategies for finding/listening to keywords, writing emails and producing creative stories.
The course is based on Cambridge books, available in pdf and word.doc format. As the course is 18 hours long, the time will be divided equally between the different skills, i.e. 3 lessons of 1.5 hours each on a weekly basis. However, if students need to refresh or learn new grammatical forms during the course, these will be incorporated into the lessons.
A mock test will be given after each part to help students understand their progress and provide feedback so that they can improve on the specific techniques or grammatical forms required for the certificate.
As the format is different for students who are visually impaired or blind, the files we use will be calibrated to the needs of the individual student. That said, the requirements for this course are to be able to use a digital format or Braille to be able to interact during the lessons.
Course calendars must be agreed with the organization and the participants based on the exam date requirements.
